Lonnie W. Lassiter

MD, MBA

Dr. Lonnie Lassiter is a practicing physician with more than 25 years of clinical experience. He earned undergraduate degrees in zoology and chemistry from North Carolina State University and his medical degree from East Carolina University’s Brody School of Medicine. He completed his family medicine residency at Florida Hospital, where he served as chief resident, and later earned a Master of Business Administration from Yale University.

Dr. Lassiter is the physician owner of Rejuven, his South Carolina medical practice, where he participates in patient evaluation, treatment planning, and clinical care in collaboration with the practice’s physician assistant and other clinical staff. He has a particular interest in caring for patients with joint deterioration, pain, and impaired mobility, with an emphasis on preserving movement, restoring function, and helping patients remain active and independent.

Dr. Lassiter is also the founder and attending physician of Wound Care Specialists, where he has treated patients with complex and high-risk wounds since 2005. He is board certified by the American Board of Wound Medicine and Surgery, is a Fellow of the American College of Clinical Wound Specialists, and serves as Chair of its Board of Directors. His previous leadership positions include Chief of Emergency Medicine at St. Luke’s Hospital, Medical Director of Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, and Medical Director of Polk County Emergency Services.
